Oprah Winfrey interview's best-selling author and inspirational Christian leader Rob Bell about spirituality and his progressive interpretation of the Bible on the next chaper of Super Soul Sunday.

Time magazine named Bell, author of What We Talk About When We Talk About God, as being "one of the most influential Christian leaders in the country."

He founded the Mars Hill Bible Church in Michigan at the young age of 28 and it is now one of the most popular mega-churches in America. As Bell finds new ways to approach, think about, and discuss religion and spirituality, his work has been met with both praise and criticism.

Winfrey explores Bell's ideology, and also considers the values of his research and theology. In the preview of the upcoming episode, Winfrey says she knew he was a "different kind of preacher."

On the episode, Bell also tries to explain why more and more people are identifying with -- and drawn to -- the idea of spirituality over religion.

"We are fascinated as humans, we're wired for the mysterious, we're drawn to it," he says in the teaser. "We're all kind of taking a leap in the end aren't we?"

Winfrey delves into the main premise of his book, which is the idea of opening oneself up to these ideas. She asks Bell why it is important to do that and what it means. In response to Winfrey's question, Bell references his Ted talk and suggests that even the most educated and studied people in the audience need to understand that acknowledging the existence of God was not a completely ludicrous idea.

"It's not crazy to acknowledge that there is a God," he says. "It may actually be the most rational move simply to say, I have come to the end of my own logical powers and acknowledge that there is too much that we can sort through these little brains."

The episode airs Sunday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. ET/PT on OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network)
