Teen Wolf fans should prepare themselves for more of the duplicitous Peter Hale when the MTV show returns for season 3B.

While it looked like Peter (Ian Bohen) had settled in with his nephew's pack during the first half of season 3, he showed he true colors once more during the midseason finale. Now that it is clear he is still smarting over the loss of his Alpha powers, what is on the agenda for Derek's (Tyler Hoechlin) uncle during 3B?

"He's kind of a master manipulator and very Machiavellian. He wants to reclaim the throne. He wants to get his power back. He wants his dignity and his pride back," said series creator Jeff Davis, according to Entertainment Weekly. "So we're going to see how he works his mind games in the next half of season 3....I think he's got a good plan ahead."

Although Davis tells fans that Peter is just working the advantage and is not the next major threat to the Beacon Hills crew, Bohen says viewers will see both the good and evil inside the werewolf.

"It's wonderful to play such a manipulative, ostensibly "bad guy" with no judgment on the character at all on my part," Bohen explained to My Fan Base in regards the more devious side of Peter. "I get to let him be him, with all his wants and motivations and foibles, and try to make a complete person out of someone who would otherwise be loathed for his actions."

However, Peter is just as capable of helping people out, sometimes even when it isn't strictly in his best interest.

"There's good in everyone," Bohen said, according to My Fan Base. "No one thinks they're bad. Not even the truest bad guys. Peter's perfectly self-absorbed and in that sense, he's very authentic to himself, he just ends up hurting others for his own causes. But I guarantee you'll see that there's love in his heart for others."

Unfortunately, the story Peter told Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) regarding the death of Derek's former girlfriend was skewed, according to the actor.

"He tells you versions of things to affect an outcome that's ultimately best for him," Bohen explained to My Fan Base. "He's working the long game and I don't think we'll see the goal until much farther down the line."
