A traveling exhibition featuring artifacts from the Titanic has ironically been forced to close during its Atlanta stop due to water damage.

The show, currently at the Atlanta Premier Exhibition Center, was forced to shut down when an unspecified water source unexpectedly interrupted the gathering, according to The Huffington Post. The show features hundreds of objects recovered from the actual Titanic, as well as historically accurate recreations of rooms aboard the shop.

The Titanic, which had been nicknamed the unsinkable ship, sunk on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912 after it collided with an iceberg. It had been at sea five days, and was traveling from Southampton, UK to New York City, N.Y., and the collision resulted in the deaths of more than 1,500 people.

Due to pressure as the ship sank, it famously split into two pieces, and the remains of the ship still sit on the ocean floor.

The irony of the exhibit being closed due to water damage was not lost on some who attempted to visit it. Tom Anstey posted a photo of the sign showing the exhibit was closed on his twitter account, and captioned it "The titanic artifact exhibition is closed due to water damage. I'm getting a sinking feeling...#titanicpuns."

The exhibit was able to re-open quickly, and was closed for only half a day according to an employee at the ticket office who said the water damage was actually nothing serious.
