The new preview for Survivor: Blood vs. Water spoils the outcome of the Redemption Island duel as well as parts of Tribal Council.

CBS released a surprisingly revealing preview for the next episode of Survivor: Blood vs. Water, featuring clips from the Tribal Council at the end of the episode.

SPOILERS BELOW:

The clip previews the return of one of the most controversial moments in Survivor history: the Purple Rock. Back in Survivor: Marquesas (season 4), the votes were deadlocked at one of the last Tribal Councils. This forced all non-immune contestants to pick a rock at random from a bag. The person who drew the purple rock was automatically eliminated from the game. This process has never been repeated in any future season, likely out of contestants' fear of being randomly eliminated.

The next episode of Survivor: Blood vs. Water, however, will feature the return of the Purple Rock. Host Jeff Probst is seen in the preview telling the castaways to reveal the rocks they drew, giving away the fact that there will be a tie at Tribal Council.

Additionally, the preview shows the jury reacting to the twist, which also spoils the person who loses the Redemption Island duel. Sitting next to Aras and Vytas Baskauskas is Caleb Bankston, which reveals that he will lose at Redemption Island and become the third member of the jury.

As for how the tribe will force a tie, the "Next time on Survivor" preview features Gervase Peterson and Hayden Moss discussing the possibility of voting out Tyson Apostol next. Since Katie Collins was wanting to vote Tyson out in the latest Tribal Council, she will likely be on board to vote him out at this one.

This means that the vote could split three for Tyson and three for either Gervase, Hayden or Katie. Either way, the next episode of Survivor: Blood vs. Water should be a memorable one.
