On Saturday, Nov. 30, actor Paul Walker was a passenger in a red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that crashed into a pole and burst into flames in Santa Clarita, Calif.

Both the actor and the driver, Roger Rodas, were killed. Walker was 40 and Rodas was 38. No other car was involved and the accident took place when Walker and Rodas left a event where they were raising money for the actor's charity, Reach Out Worldwide. Rodas reportedly lost control of the car before it hit into the pole, but a cause of the accident has not been announced at time of publication. Both men were declared dead on the scene.
