On the next episode of season 3 of Homeland, Brody (Damian Lewis) will be in Iran as Carrie (Claire Danes) tries to protect him.

Showtime released two new clips from the upcoming episode of Homeland, titled Big Man in Tehran. In the first clip, Brody is in the middle of a street in Iran as he is greeted warmly by local Iranians.

Brody declares to the people that he is seeking political asylum in their country, as it is the only place that he can find peace. The locals cheer him on, shouting "Allahu Akbar" in unison. Little do the Iranians know, however, that Brody is about to kill one of the most important men in the country, General Akbari, the leader of the Revolutionary Guard.

While on the street, a disguised Carrie watches from a distance, sporting a different hair color than her usual blonde locks.

In the other clip, Saul (Mandy Patinkin) briefs his team on the ongoing operation. He explains that Brody is going to be given a cyanide needle, which will be the weapon he uses to kill Akbari. Saul adds that there will likely be an scenario in which Akbari calls a meeting with Brody, offering the perfect opportunity for getting to him directly. He also says that there is a plan of extraction for Brody, which likely involves Carrie.

However, this plan likely will not go perfectly, as it rarely does in Homeland. The synopsis for the episode states that Brody's loyalties will be questioned in Iran when he meets "a ghost from his past."
