John Mayer and Katy Perry cozied up on the single cover of Who You Love and according to VH1's The Gossip Table, his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston found it hilarious.

"Friends of Jennifer's are telling the Gossip Table that she thinks it's an absolute hoot," the show's host Rob Shuter said on Wednesday's segment. "She thinks they look really ridiculous."

In the photo, shot by Mario Sorrenti, Mayer is seen holding onto his guitar as he sits on the floor. Perry's hand is gently placed on his neck and she sits on a couch next to him. The brunette Roar singer is also wearing a silky black dress as she stares into the camera.

The cover is for their acoustic duet, which appears on Mayer's sixth studio album Paradise Valley, released on Aug. 20.

On his website, NaughtyButNiceRob, Shuter also said that Aniston's friend allegedly told him: "Come on the picture is very funny. Jen along with everyone else in America is having a good laugh. She doesn't feel any ill will towards him, but like everyone else, she knows John loves the spotlight and has no problem stepping out with the celebrity he is dating at the moment."

On the show, Shuter went on to say that Mayer used to "parade" Aniston around but since their breakup in 2009, the We're The Millers actress keeps to herself.

"Jennifer's like a stealth-like machine. All of us here tried to get information on Jennifer. She's a huge celebrity," he said. "It's impossible except when she was dating Johnny and then we knew everything."

The statement, however, contradicts the fact that he said he received this new information about Aniston.
