John Mayer released the seductive Who You Love cover art via social media and praised his lady Katy Perry while doing so.

"Who You Love" is here," he tweeted along with with the single cover on Dec. 2. "Proud of this song, proud of this artwork, proud of this girl."

In the photo, shot by Mario Sorrenti, Mayer is seen holding onto his guitar as he sits on the floor. Perry's hand is gently placed on his neck and she sits on a couch next to him. The brunette Roar singer is also wearing a silky black dress as she stares into the camera.

The acoustic love song appears on Mayer's sixth studio album Paradise Valley, which was released on Aug. 20. The song discusses a love that's impossible to let go of.

Mayer and Perry started dating in August 2012, after the songstress divorced comedian/actor Russell Brand earlier that year. Despite their split in March, Mayer and Perry have allegedly rekindled their romance.

Who You Love lyrics:

Chorus:

You love, who you love, who you love. You love, who you love, who you love.

Verse 1: (John Mayer)

My girl, she ain't the one that I saw coming and sometimes I don't know which way to go. And I tried to run before but I'm not running anymore cause I've fought against it hard enough to know.

Chorus:

You love, who you love, who you love. You love, who you love, who you love. Oh, you can't make yourself stop dreaming who you're dreaming of. If it's who you love, then it's who you love.

Verse 2: (Katy Perry)

My boy, he ain't the one that I saw coming. And some have said his heart's too hot to hold. And it takes a little time but you should see him when he shines cause you never wanna let that feeling go.

Chorus
