The Survivor: Blood vs. Water finale is a few days away, and the final seven castaways are hoping to become the 27th winner of Survivor.

Richard Hatch, who famous walked around the beach naked, was the first ever Survivor winner back in 2000. A year later, Southern mom Tina Wesson beat out her competitors to win Survivor: Australia. There have been a variety of winners over the years, from young girls to fit, older men.

The select group of Survivor winners is a diverse one. There have been two African-American winners in the show's history: Vecepia Towery in Survivor: Marquesas and Earl Cole in Survivor: Fiji. Survivor: Cook Islands winner Yul Kwon is Asian-American. Sandra Diaz-Twine is a Latina-American. Hatch and Survivor: China winner Todd Herzog are both openly gay winners. Africa winner Ethan Zohn is Jewish.

Younger girls have traditionally done well on Survivor, including Amazon winner Jenna Morasca, Guatamela winner Danni Boatwright, Micronesia winner Parvati Shallow, Samoa winner Natalie White and South Pacific winner Sophie Clarke.

Many winners have completely dominated their games from start to finish, including Thailand's Brian Heidik, Palau's Tom Westman, Panama's Aras Baskauskas, Fiji's Cole, Tocantins' J.T. Thomas, Redemption Island's Rob Mariano, One World's Kim Spradlin and Caramoan's John Cochran.

Other winners have come from behind to win the title of Sole Survivor. Such underdogs have included Vanuatu winner Chris Daugherty, Guatemala winner Danni Boatwright, Gabon's Bob Crowley, Nicaragua's Jud "Fabio" Birza and Philippines' Denise Stapley.
