Before Z100's annual Jingle Ball concert, the radio station held its exclusive pre-show where Travie McCoy, Paramore and Fifth Harmony performed.

McCoy, also a member of Gym Class Heroes, took the stage at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom to perform several of his older hits, including Billionaire, A-- Back Home, Stereo Heart and Fighter, which he dedicated to anyone who has ever been bullied. He also sang his latest song, Rough Water featuring Jason Mraz.

The song, set to appear on McCoy's upcoming sophomore solo album, was written for one of his ex-girlfriends.

"I've always kind of avoided confrontation. And this relationship, she was French so it was kind of a language barrier," he told MTV in November. "But whenever confrontation would arise I would just like leave the room and let her simmer down. And then I realized that that wasn't really helping things. I started actually listening to her."

When Hayley Williams took the stage with her Paramore bandmates, Jeremy Davis and Taylor York, she made sure to clear up some false reports. While rumors started that the band was having problems because Davis was absent from recent press interviews, Williams explained that he was simply getting ready to welcome his new baby. The bassist and his wife Kathryn are expecting a baby girl this month.

Paramore then went on to perform two of its biggest hits, including Only Exception and Still Into You.

Fifth Harmony, the girl group formed on the second season of The X Factor, hit the stage to sing Miss Movin' On, Better Together and Me and My Girls. The girls, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Dinah-Jane Hansen, Normani Hamilton, also covered Lorde's Royals and the Christmas classic Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

During their exceptional performance, the girls also gave kudos to Beyonce, who released her unannounced and self-titled fifth studio album on Friday.

"Have you heard Beyonce's new album? So good," said Hamilton, before Brooke added, "And her videos? So hot."
