While fans await the highly anticipated third season finale for MTV's Awkward on Tuesday, the cast is already starting to film season four.
Greer Grammer, who plays the ditzy yet adorable Lissa, tweeted the news to her followers on Dec. 5.
"First table read for season 4 of [Awkward] this morning!!! SUCH great stuff is coming! Get excited!!"
A picture that she included revealed that the cast was reading the first and second episodes of the upcoming season. The second episode is titled Listen To This!
A new character named Eva is also joining the fourth season of the show to shake things up at Palos Hills High School, Enstars previously reported. She is beginning her senior year after moving to the area from Manhattan. The character will reportedly be a sophisticated girl that serves up sex appeal and melancholy. She is said to be a mix between Eva Mendez, Angelina Jolie and Linda Fiorentino.
There is no word yet if she will be friends with Jenna and Tamara, or their arch nemesis Sadie Saxton.
Though the cast is already getting ready for the fourth season, they are still enjoying the third one. During MTV's Game Day Marathon Sunday, cast members Molly Tarlov (Sadie), Brett Davern (Jake), Beau Mirchoff (Matty), and Jillian Rose Reed (Tamara) played a risqué' game of guys versus girls Pictionary. The clue was "Jake's Sex Van." Beau first guessed "Jake's Van," but Molly ended up getting the full hint and snagged a point for the ladies.
