Jimmy Fallon returns to Saturday Night Live on Dec. 21 and brings his good friend Justin Timberlake with him as the night's guest performer.

The former cast member and Kenan Thompson braved a New York City snowstorm to record a series of promotional clips for the upcoming show. Even though Timberlake does not appear in the footage with the pair, he is not forgotten.

The upcoming host begins the teaser with a scare, saying that the Suit & Tie singer will miss the performance because of a cancelled flight. After both the 29-year-old and Thompson are thrown snowballs from someone off camera, Fallon quipped, "Kidding! Justin will be here, happy holidays everyone."

Another scene features Thompson trying to impersonate the Grammy winner by covering his face with a scarf. Confusing the lyrics to SexyBack, Thompson says, "Yeah there's gonna be some sexy on top of it."

"It looks like it's snowing but it's actually pigeon droppings," Fallon jokes in another scene.

The duo also sing their version of Timberlake's hit Mirrors. Fallon, and his guitar, then leave the cold and join in with Kate McKinnon to perform a song about Timberlake and the Christmas show.

Fallon and Timberlake are in fact really good friends. The late night talk show host attended the singer's private wedding to Jessica Biel in October 2013. Timberlake has also been a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the duo in September teamed up for a comedy skit shedding light on the overuse of hashtags.
