Meanwhile, Deadline reported that Walker's vacated role in The Best of Me has been offered to Anchorman 2's James Marsden.

The synopsis for Agent 47 reads very similar to the kind of role Walker had become known for talking since signing on to the Fast & Furious franchise. The film follows the story of a tattooed assassin and is based on the popular Hitman video game series.

The Best of Me, a Nicholas Sparks film adaptation, follows two former high school lovers who see each other for the first time in 20 years at a mutual friend's funeral.
