The former Bachelor star Sean Lowe and his fiancee Catherine Giudici vowed not to consummate their relationship until they officially tied the knot.

In a new interview with In Touch, the couple opened up about their decision and revealed that it only made their relationship stronger.

"I think we know each other a lot better now," Lowe told the magazine. "You have to work at being in a healthy relationship, which we have done, and we both know why we're great for each other."

Lowe's lady had similar feelings toward him and also expressed her excitement for the big night.

"Since I met him, I have always been attracted to him... but every day I've gotten to learn more and more about him; it's kind of like we've merged into one inseparable person," Giudici said. "I can't wait to solidify that bond!"

Giudici also proved her love for Lowe and got baptized before their big day. The reality star posted a photo on Instagram on Jan. 12 with the caption, "Us with Jay the Baptist."

In the snapshot, Guidici stands to the left of her soon-to-be father-in-law Jay Lowe while her friend, Laura Caperton, is to his right. All three are also wearing white religious robes at the ceremony, which took place at the Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving, Texas.

"This brings my heart so much joy. Got to watch my dad baptize @catherinegiudici this morning," Lowe wrote on Instagram along with a photo from the ceremony.
