VH1 is bringing another Atlanta reality show to television, as the network recently announced the new franchise, Atlanta Exes.

The new series is a spinoff of Hollywood Exes and will feature ex-girlfriends and ex-wives of celebrities. According to a press release, the cast will include Tameka Raymond (ex-wife of Usher Raymond, Christina Johnson (ex-wife of Cee-Lo Green), Monyetta Shaw (ex-fiancee of Ne-Yo), Sheree Buchanan (ex-wife of former NFL player, Ray Buchanan) and Torrei Hart (ex-wife of Kevin Hart.)

"It is exciting that the continued success of 'Hollywood Exes' has allowed us to expand this popular franchise into additional cities," Susan Levison, EVP Original Programming & Production, VH1 stated. "Atlanta is truly enjoying a moment in the spotlight, so taking the 'Exes' brand down South was a natural evolution for VH1. This dynamic cast truly defines what it means to be a 'mover and shaker' in the Atlanta social scene, and we look forward to giving our viewers a look into their unique world."

Last October, on the red carpet for the 5th Annual ASCAP "Women Behind the Music Series," Torrei revealed that the main reason why she joined the show was to show the real side of her, rather than people's perceptions and misconceptions of her just being Kevin's ex-wife.

"In the past I've been put out in the press, people have this assumption about me, and it's a way for people to really get to see who I am. I want to do the show. I think it's a great opportunity. It's a great platform, and I'm excited about it," she said.

Torrei also said she got Kevin's support and promised not to make him look like a fool on television.

"At first he was a little apprehensive about it but once I told him 'I assure you I will not be fighting, I will not be cussing, I will not embarrass our kids, our family, you have nothing to worry about,' he was like okay go for it, do it."
