Hawaii Five-0's Danny Williams and Steve McGarrett have a gun to their heads but their situation will get even more intense when their captor drags Danno's daughter into the mix.
When an escaped criminal carjacks McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Detective William's (Scott Caan) vehicle in "Nā hala a ka makua (Sins of the Father)," the Five-0 partners are in for a long day of driving as the convict is determined to make it off the island.

Considering the entirety of the HPD is on the look out for the unnamed prisoner, McGarrett and Danno find themselves in a bit of a bind as they approach a roadblock. How will they get through without raising suspicion? Although he is already brandishing a pistol, our friendly neighborhood carjacker feels his chauffeurs need a little extra incentive.
Commandeering Danno's phone, the villain dials up Grace Williams (Teilor Grubbs), telling the youngster that her father has something he wants her to hear. Putting the call on speakerphone, he quietly tells the detective that his daughter will hear him die if he doesn't get them safely past the checkpoint.
As any fan of the show knows, it is entirely inadvisable to threaten Danno's little girl. Once Five-0 regains control of the situation, you can bet Willaims will find a way to get even.
"He's just trying to be a protective father," said executive producer Peter Lenkov of Caan's character, according to TV Guide. "He [doesn't] want his daughter growing up being afraid and looking over her shoulder."
