"Wherever they would like to put me, each would be a challenge," Damon said.

The actor also said that his wife is a huge fan of the show.

"My wife loves the show so much that she's literally out today touring," Damon said. "She wanted to tour the set."

While there is a chance that a new character could come on the show, there appears to be a small chance that any of the current characters will leave.

Julian Fellowes, the writer of the series, revealed that all his characters are "irreplaceable."

"I'm the original Mother Hen," Fellowes told The Guardian. "They're all irreplaceable to me."
