Filming for the series finale episode of CBS' How I Met Your Mother has officially wrapped, and new photos which have surfaced appear to show that the episode will indeed feature the historic moment where Ted will meet his future wife on the Farhampton train platform.

Sandy Rivers Appearing In Series Finale Episode?

The last day of filming was Feb. 28, and according to various twitter feeds, the last two actors to wrap were indeed Josh Radnor, who plays Ted, and Cristin Miliotti, who plays the mother. And photos that Radnor, as well as series co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas have shared on twitter appear to show that the characters will meet one another in the series finale episode.

On Friday, Bays tweeted a photo of the train platform in Farhampton where fans have known Ted would meet his future wife for several seasons now with the caption, "Last Stop." Radnor also tweeted a close-up of the train platform sign with the caption "About to shoot a scene on a train platform."

Marshall Not Appearing In Final Scenes?

Thomas also tweeted a photo of the mother's iconic yellow umbrella resting on the train platform, with the caption "A yellow umbrella prepares for its close-up."

The photos all seem to indicate that the historic meeting will not only take place on the train platform, but could potentially conclude the series as well.

Another photo which has surfaced from the episode has appeared on TV Line, and shows Neil Patrick Harris' character Barney Stinson wearing a strangely different outfit from his usual suits that his character had a known preference for.

In a photo which shows the moment he wrapped his final scenes Feb. 26, Harris is on the fake New York City street set, wearing white sneakers and socks, white short shorts and a pink polo shirt. In past episodes, if his character has ever altered his appearance, it is usually at the expense of losing a bet to Lily and Marshall. The strange outfit appears to hint that a final bet could take place between the characters with Barney losing once again.

Meanwhile, Radnor, Bays and Thomas have all tweeted their final thoughts about having wrapped the show after nine years.

After finishing up with shooting his final scenes, Radnor tweeted "It was raining the day I auditioned for HIMYM. It's raining the day I finish. English majors, what does this mean?!" as well as a simple "THE END."

How I Met Your Mother airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
