March Madness is finally here and the road to a 2014 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament will begin once the top teams get a seed.

This year, the top 68 teams of Men's Division I basketball will be announced on CBS for "Selection Sunday," which will take place on March 16. The hour-long special will begin at 6:00 pm and the teams are usually announced in the first half of the show.

Teams like Florida, Wichita State, and Arizona will all nab No. 1 seeds, with Louisville, Michigan and Virginia fighting for the last top seed.

While some teams like Manhattan College already locked in their ticket by winning their conference title and getting an automatic bid to the tournament, others teams will need the approval of the committee.

The tournament will start on Tuesday, March 18th, but the traditional 64-team bracket won't get underway until Thursday, March 20th.

Last year, the Louisville Cardinals took home the championship after dealing with injuries and adversity. Kevin Ware became a household name after he broke his right leg in an Elite Eight game against Duke on March 31, 2013. He received a lot of media attention because his leg broke in half and was televised for the world to see. In an outstanding performance by the Cardinals, they went to beat Duke 85-63.
