Jake Johnson revealed details about his character in Jurassic World in a recent interview.

Jurassic World Theme Park Inspired By Original 1993 Film? Will the Plot Be Similar?

The actor spoke to Vulture at a Stella Artois event to "Celebrate the Rise of the Home Bar" with "America's favorite TV bartender, Jake Johnson."  The event was trying to tap into the actor's image as Nick, who is also a bartender, in New Girl.

Johnson discussed his association with the iconic dinosaur franchise with its fourth instalment. When asked is he was excited to be tackling some of those formidable prehistoric creatures, he laughed and suggested that they were in CGI so he wouldn't actually be confronting them. But even if they were not, he added that the part that he was playing removed him from the realm of direct interaction with the beasts.

"You know, it's not real dinosaurs," he said. "I'm the tech guy. I'm the guy in the booth, so I don't get to wrestle around with the dinos. That's Chris Pratt and Bryce Howard. They get to do all that."

But then again, if he still got to share space with a dinosaur, he said that the T. Rex would be it.

Which Character from the 1993 Original is Set to Return in Jurassic Park 4?

The actor will begin shooting for the film in July. He has worked with the director Colin Trevorrow in Safety Not Guaranteed before this. Johnson also said that the scribe behind that film also did the rewrite on Jurassic World

"That [Safetly Not Guaranteed] movie we did for, I think it was $600,000 up in Seattle, a 20-day shoot. I loved it. So to do that and now be doing Jurassic World together, it just feels like a fun jump," he said.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
