Just days after her successful international tour, The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Beyoncé's name is in the headlines again as she covers the newest issue of OUT Magazine and speaks on the new album's sexuality for the first time.

Beyoncé Cries at Last Concert... About Blue?  WATCH!

When Beyoncé dropped her surprise self-titled album in December of last year, no one expected the borderline explicit videos or the racy lyrical content. Usually, the 32-year-old is more reserved and appropriate for the mainstream arena, but this time she listened to her heart and blocked out any naysayers.  Of course, when the album was released, there were mixed feelings on the content and many controversial reports of the Queen Bey losing sight of being a role model to thousands of young girls.  Until now, she has not said much directly regarding the music.

In her new interview with OUT Magazine, a much more mature Beyoncé finally comments on what went through her mind as she penned her latest album and the inequalities between male and female sexuality.

Beyonce Stars in a New Toyota Campaign; Get Going!

Since Beyoncé was on tour, the writer was only able to get her answers through email.  However, he was granted unlimited access to Beyoncé's company, Parkwood Entertainment, and to those who know her best.  With that, he crafted an intimate piece at what it is like to be Queen Bey.

"Discipline, patience, control, truth, risk, and effortlessness were all things I thought about while I was putting this album together," she wrote.  "I'd like to believe that my music opened up that conversation. There is unbelievable power in ownership, and women should own their sexuality."

Beyoncé, who is an ever-present voice in the realm of female empowerment, continued, "There is a double standard when it comes to sexuality that still persists. Men are free and women are not."

She added, "You can be a businesswoman, a mother, an artist, and a feminist-whatever you want to be-and still be a sexual being. It's not mutually exclusive."

She also made a statement perfect for the publication, saying, "We are all the same and we all want the same things: the right to be happy, to be just who we want to be and to love who we want to love."
