One of the more significant relationships on Once Upon a Time could be growing closer as season 3 moves forward.

Main Character Killed Off In Next Episode of Once Upon a Time?

Jennifer Morrison, who plays Emma Swan on Once Upon a Time, spoke with E! News Wednesday night at a clothing launch event, revealing a few details about her character's relationship with Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue).

With Neal (Michael Raymond-James) dead, Hook is the only viable love interest left in Emma's life, and that may have an impact on things.

Regina Ready To Feel "Deep & Real" Love Again?

"Neal having died has changed things." Morrison said. "Hook will definitely be instrumental in helping Emma face the Wicked Witch and helping Emma accept parts of herself."

She noted that Hook is "definitely becoming a part of her life," though she would not confirm if romance was in the air between them after their steamy kiss in the first half of the season.

Once Upon a Time co-creator Adam Horowitz previously told E! that fans of Emma and Hook as a relationship might have to wait a bit for another significant moment between them.

"Their relationship is continuing to develop and grow, but right now, both of them are embroiled in something beyond romance," Horowitz said. "So while they're dealing with any feelings they may or may not have for one another, the stakes are raised so high now."

Once Upon a Time season 3 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
