Caroline Manzo's family has gone a step further in exiling Teresa Giudice after she pleaded guilty to fraud charges last month.

Teresa's 'RHONJ' Co-Stars Stand By Her?

Now, Manzo's daughter, Laura has omitted Giudice from her wedding guest list, after Giudice was one of the only The Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars that was not invited to her engagement party. Caroline also recently stated the two were "never friends."

Lauren is set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Vito Scalia in 2015. They will have a reception at the family business The Brownstone sans Giudce. An insider broke down the issue to Radar Online as to why Giudice was not invited to the festivities.

"Caroline doesn't have a relationship with Teresa anymore. They ended things on good terms, but they were never really friends. Teresa just isn't in their lives anymore."

The source close to the situation went on to defend the Manzos and said that not inviting Giudice wasn't "rude"; it just wasn't necessary.

"Caroline doesn't have a relationship with Teresa anymore. They ended things on good terms, but they were never really friends. Teresa just isn't in their lives anymore. Why would Lauren invite someone she hasn't spoken to in over a year? Would you invite someone to your wedding that hasn't spoken to you?"

The insider went on to say that Laura did not even get as much as a "congratulations" from Giudice. This could be the underlying reason she wasn't invited and her fellow reality co-stars, Kathy Wakile, Melissa Gorga and Jacqueline Laurita were.

The insider said, "As far as the Gorgas and Wakiles being invited, they both texted and called Lauren right the night she got engaged."

As for Giudice, she is still possibly facing jail time after she pleaded guilty to serious fraud charges including bankruptcy and tax evasion. Her sentencing is scheduled for July 8.
