The finale of Scandal is finally here and the one-hour-long drama show is said to blow fans away.

According to Kerry Washington, Thursday's night season 3 finale, titled "The Price of Free and Fair Election," "gets crazier and crazier in the most wonderful way."

Joe Morton, Olivia Pope is holding on to his dear life after Mama Pope shot him to almost death. A bomb is still ticking at a church where VP and presidential candidate Sally Langston, her adviser Leo and President Fitz's running mate and Mellie's lover, Andew are gathered for a funeral for a senator.

Harrison is held at gunpoint by terrorist Adnan Salif.

Meanwhile, Olivia's team and the B613 Command team are in the hunt for Marie to disarm the bomb.

Mellie's secret about Fitz's dad, Big Jerry is still underwraps, so fans wonder if the news will be exposed.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Washington said fans will just have to wait to see how Thursday's finale plays out.

"You'll have to wait to see! She and I both hope we get more of these scenes together next season, for sure (laughs). We love working together. We both love our characters and love each other's characters and love the dynamic of being able to live in these words and these situations as these women together. It's really a privilege," Washington said.

The finale will air on ABC Thursday April 17 at 10 p.m.
