It seems like Jon Voight is taking a break from filming season 2 of Ray Donovan as he was recently spotted swimming with dolphins in Cancun.

The shooting for the second season was in full swing last month as updates and pictures from the set in Los Angeles surfaced on social media and the press. Maybe, the show has already wrapped production for the second season and the actors are not tied down anymore.

According a report dated April 15, the actor visited Cancun and Riviera Maya for a short vacation and had a memorable time swimming with dolphins.

"I've never done like this ever before, was amazing to me. Everybody who comes here come away with this excitement -- while trying to use his hands to express surprise and emotion at the same time -- it's quite an amazing thing for people to interact with nature in the way that this allows you," he said of the experience.

The actor also revealed that he got to know the dolphins and ended up familiarising himself with some of their personalities.

He went on to suggest that he wanted to bring his granschildren to partake in the amazing experience with him the next time.

"I have this little book which you provide me with, very good photography, and I will be able to take this back home with me and show my grand children and my family and I'm gonna be very, very excited," he said. "One day I hope to bring all my grand children, all of them, and they all have the same experience I had, will be wonderful."

The second season will premiere on July 13.
