Aside from waiting for their sentence after pleading guilty to fraud charges, Teresa and Joe Giudice are still aren't totally in the clear in their bankruptcy case.

Teresa On Verge of Being Homeless?

It has been reported that the couple paid $7,500 hoping to get rid of their multi-million dollar debt. But the trustee handling their bankruptcy case, John Sywilok, has pointed out that they still owe $13.4 million to their creditors.

These creditors can now begin to collect payment from the reality TV couple after being put on hiatus while the Giudice's bankruptcy case made its way through the system after they filed in 2010. Not to mention their guilty plea to fraud (including bankruptcy, mortgage and tax evasion) in March.

Still, Sywilok has accused The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars of hiding assets and their income. Both Joe and Teresa fought the claims using the Fifth Amendment against self-incrimination and settled the case in court. But Sywilok has worked to get creditors $15,000 their money rather than taking and selling their luxury items.

The couple still owes $5.4 million to Wachovia, $1.7 million to the Community Bank of Bergen County, $1.3 million to Dime Savings Bank and more than $500,000 to the New Jersey Division of Taxation. On top of that, they owe more than $386,000 to the Internal Revenue Service.

A bankruptcy attorney has revealed that despite their filing, their debt isn't going away anytime soon.

"They are going to owe whatever they owed, as if they had not fought bankruptcy," Hackensack attorney Ronald Levine said. "They're completely stuck with their debt. It was a terrible decision to file for bankruptcy. They might have gotten away under the radar otherwise."

In the meantime, the couple is set to receive their sentencing on July 8 for fraud. Teresa faces up to 27 months in jail while Joe is looking at 37-46 months.
