Teresa Giudice Jail: Had Anxiety Attack After Watching 'Orange Is The New Black' To Prepare For Federal Prison? [VIDEO]

Teresa Giudice is allegedly taking drastic yet awkward measures to prepare for possible time behind bars.

According to an article from Radar Online published Thursday, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been channeling her inner inmate and watching Orange Is The New Black to get a good idea of what it will be like in federal prison. She's looking at 27 months while her husband, Joe, is facing 46. He could also be deported back to Italy after the couple pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud including bank, wire, mail, bankruptcy and tax evasion.

An insider close to the situation told the site, "Teresa's friends told her to watch Orange Is The New Black because it deals with a woman being sent to federal prison."

But her plan went a little haywire when Teresa was hit with reality.

The source added, "At first it seemed like a great idea, and Teresa really laughed for the first several minutes but when the main character actually turns herself in to begin serving the prison sentence, Teresa lost it. She abruptly turned it off, and dissolved into a fit of tears. She actually had to take to anti-anxiety medication to calm down."

They also said Teresa's main fear is that she will spend the rest of her life in prison with no one to protect her from inmates that mean her harm.

"Her family is really concerned about Teresa because this is all taking a tremendous toll on her health."
