With reality TV shows seemingly dominating what airs on the small screen these days, the everyday people featured on the programs have slowly begun to find celebrity status similar to that of the world's biggest movie stars.

Eric Hill Death: 'Bachelorette' Contestant Dies After Paragliding Accident

Whether these people are remembered for winning a reality competition series, appearing on more than one show, or simply for their behaviors while appearing, they are names that will likely go down in reality television history.

The first on the list is a face who won't be basking in any reality celebrity glory due to tragically passing away. Eric Hill, a contestant on the upcoming season of ABC's The Bachelorette, starring Andi Dorfman, passed away April 23 after sustaining injuries during a paragliding accident on April 20. His name will likely always be remembered as fans watch him compete for her heart once the show airs, knowing he would pass away shortly after his elimination from the competition.

Some famous reality stars are couples who meet on a competition series that isn't devoted to love, but manage to find happiness anyway. Rob Mariano, a season 4 contestant on CBS' Survivor and Amber Brkich, who competed on season 2 of the reality series, are one such couple. The two met while filming Survivor: All-Stars, which Brkich went on to win. During that season's finale episode Mariano proposed to her and she accepted. The two went on to compete as an engaged couple on Season 7 of The Amazing Race, placing second, and again on the show's first All-Stars season as newlyweds, but were the fourth eliminated team. Mariano has also appeared on two other installments of Survivor, and the couple had their own TV special devoted to their 2005 wedding.
