It's been speculated that pop star Katy Perry may be living up her single life since her alleged hookup with DJ Diplo, but now the two might be creating an official relationship.

Katy Perry Is 'Fed Up' With Rihanna?

On Sunday, People reported that the Birthday singer and the DJ had dinner together at the Marlton Hotel in New York City, and then went to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 after-party at Skylight at Moynihan Station. Even though this could have just been two friends having a platonic evening together, a source said that there was a little more going on between them.

"They were very affectionate, very lovey-dovey," a source said about Perry and Diplo during the party. The source also mentioned that the two were "all over each other" and "they were constantly looking at each other" when they weren't right by the other.

Perry supposedly departed quickly from the DJ that night.

"She didn't want it to look like they were together, but they were," the source said.

While the Roar singer is currently being rumored to be dating her DJ friend, there was another report that claimed she was taking her relationship with Twilight star Robert Pattinson to the next level although sources made it clear that they were just friends.

"They are not an item, were never an item and will never be an item," a source told Hollywood Life. "Friend zone is the only zone they are in."

Perry also told 105.1's The Breakfast Club that she is single.
