NCIS: Los Angeles is heading into deep water for their season finale/premiere combo.

Sam & Callen Left In 'Extreme Jeopardy', Hetty Under Review In NCIS: LA Season Finale?

The Special Operations team will be pursuing a drug-laden submarine when season 5 comes to a close, and it looks like Callen and Sam will be in a tight spot when "In Too Deep: Part 2" picks up.

"[They are] in extreme jeopardy in a place that they've never been, and in a situation that appears almost insurmountable for them," teased series creator Shane Brennan, according to TV Guide.

Will Densi Survive? Daniela Ruah Previews What's Next For Deeks & Kensi On NCIS: LA

Thanks to new photos from NCIS: LA's "Show N Share Week," it has been confirmed that Sam, and perhaps Callen, will be getting very wet during the premiere. As the sub takes on water, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will be donning life jackets as they hover above the ocean in a helicopter.

"Awesome week on #NCISLA," tweeted director Dennis Smith. "They gave me great script, a submarine, helicopters and a chick fight! Happy Director :-)"

While it is unknown which two female characters will be fighting (possibly Kensi and DEA Agent Talia Del Campo (Mercedes Masohn)), fans can get a peek at the sub, the water tank, and the helicopter in the photos above.

NCIS: LA airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Click the video below to see a preview for the series' next episode, "Exposure."
