The first photos for Sons of Anarchy Season 7 have been released via Twitter, and while there aren't any big spoilers hidden in the photos, they do show Jax (Charlie Hunnam) with a new look.

Jax is often seen sporting facial hair throughout Sons of Anarchy, but new behind-the-scenes photos show a clean-shaven look. Dominic Pagone, Vice President of Media Relations for FX, posted new photos on his Twitter page Friday. The photos are taken behind-the-scenes of a new promo being filmed for the final season and not necessarily for a scene in Season 7, Pagone specified.

It is not clear if Jax's new look is relevant to the final season.

Very few spoilers have been released about the final season of Sons of Anarchy, with showrunner Kurt Sutter and company most keeping things under wraps.

However, there have been some casting details released, including the inclusion of recurring characters like Nero (Jimmy Smits) and Charles Barosky (Peter Weller). It is unknown if CCH Pounder will return as Tyne Patterson, as the actress is currently set to star in the new CBS show NCIS: New Orleans this fall.

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson is also rumored to make a guest appearance in the new season, possibly playing a heroin addict. He is slated to have some new music featured in the final season.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres this fall on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date.
