Lea Michele Headed To Sons of Anarchy For Final Season?

Very little is known about the seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy other than some of the returning cast members. As always, Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and Gemma (Katey Sagal) are returning for the final season alongside the usual batch of supporting players.

Some of the more memorable recurring characters, like Nero (Jimmy Smits) and Barosky (Peter Weller) are expected to return as well. Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter has said that he is trying to get CCH Pounder to return as Tyne Patterson, though the actress is slated to star in the upcoming CBS drama NCIS: New Orleans, which was picked up for series this week. The NCIS spinoff will begin airing in the fall, suggesting that Pounder may not have time to even appear as a guest star in Sons of Anarchy.

Production is slated to begin very soon on the motorcycle drama's final season, and the scripts are currently being written well in advance of filming.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date.
