Chmerkovskiy, fresh off winning Dancing With the Stars with Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis, is headed to the India version of the reality dance series, as reported Monday by E! Online. The 34-year-old dancer will be a guest judge on four episodes of Dancing With the Stars, known as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Chmerkovskiy posted a photo of himself on the flight to India on Instagram, captioning the photo, "Another flight! This is a long one....19 hours to Mumbai via Dubai! Finally gonna get some sleep!! AND there's a lounge in the back ;) Stay tuned for some pics from India!"

The Walking Dead Star Competing In Season 19 Of Dancing With the Stars?

Fans of Chmerkovskiy do not need to fret, as his guest judging gig will not interfere with a potential return to the U.S. Dancing With the Stars this fall.

Before winning this spring's 18th season of Dancing With the Stars, Chmerkovskiy had competed in 13 seasons but had never won. He made the finals four times previously, coming in second place with Melanie Brown in Season 5 and Kirstie Alley in Season 12 and coming in third with Laila Ali in Season 4 and Erin Andrews in Season 10.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 premieres in fall 2014 on ABC, though the network has not announced a specific air date yet. It will be returning to its regular Mondays at 8 p.m. timeslot without a results show.
