Tamra Barney has found herself in the hot seat once more as she's being accused of being a "hypocrite" for telling her son to stop using human growth hormones while refusing to give up her own anti-aging injections and botox herself.

In the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Barney tells her son Ryan Vieth that he should stop taking the hormones after blood tests indicated that they might be doing harm to his body.

Many fans of the show commented on Twitter that Barney was rather hypocritical in telling her son that she should stop trying to improve his looks while admitting that she needed injections in order to keep up with her appearance herself.

"Men get better with age; women at my age start going down, crash burn," Barney said on the show.

Barney also tried to give her son advice, telling him to just be "happy with the way he is," despite her own controversial beauty regime.

"I want to shake him and say, 'What are you doing? Stop. You don't need to inject your body with stuff to make yourself look better. Just be happy with who you are," she said.

Barney's son Vieth is from her first marriage and currently works at the fitness center both she and her third husband Eddie Judge run together.

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs every Monday at 9 p.m. EST/PST on the Bravo Network.
