It looks as though Tamra Barney is setting the record straight about those rumors that suggested she would be getting her own spinoff show on Bravo. The Real Housewives of Orange County star says there's no truth to the rumors and that none of her other cast mates on the show were offered one, either.

Barney lashed out at an unnamed blogger that suggested she has been begging Bravo execs to get a chance to film her own show, as she supposedly thinks she's the "star of the show."

"Let me crush a stupid rumor that won't go away," she wrote. "I was NEVER asked to do a spinoff show!"

Barney also added that getting her own show "would be a lot of work" at that some Housewives simply don't have what it takes to make it on their own.

"I'm sure a lot of [women] would love to have their own show and are working on standing out to get their chance... [but] it is a lot of work to hold your own show and you need to have a lot going on in your life," she added.

Bravo exec Andy Cohen said just last week that almost all the Real Housewives cast members of the franchise have asked him for their own show at one time or another. Barney denies these claims, insisting that she is happy where she is on the ensemble show.

Cohen said, "I always say, 'You should be so happy to be on this ensemble show, you get paid so well.'"
