It is certainly a busy year for 33-year-old Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

The professional soccer player and girlfriend Sara Carbonero welcomed their first child together via C- Section back in January, little Martin Casillas Carbonero.

As if that wasn't enough excitement, Casillas is currently competing with his team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which started today with a match between Brazil and Croatia.

Rumors about marriage have circulated around Casillas and Carbonero for about a year now, and it seems that now they just might be true.

Somewhere between the birth of their child and the start of the World Cup, Casillas and Carbonero might have just tied the knot. Speculation has mounted suggesting that the two have married privately, though they have yet to confirm or deny these claims publicly.

The Spanish goalkeeper first showed affection for Carbonaro in 2010 when he kissed his girlfriend while she was interviewing him. The kiss sparked a media frenzy, securing media interest for years to come.

The thirty-year-old Carbonero was born in Corral de Almaguer, Spain in 1984. The 30-year-old has worked as a TV presenter and sports journalist. She received her degree from Complutense University of Madrid.

As is customary, Carbonero is reporting on this year's World Cup, though the Epoch Times reports that her and Casillas have elected to leave little Martin at home, though Carbonero did insist that her son would "be perfectly taken care of" in her absence.

Madrid's first game at the World Cup begins today at 3:00 p.m.
