While countless people tune in to reality television for entertainment, Braxton Family Values star Tamar Braxton credits it for saving her marriage.

Braxton, who also stars in WeTV's spinoff show, Tamar & Vince with her husband, music manager, Vincent Herbert, revealed that without reality TV (specifically Tamar & Vince), she and Herbert might have been headed for divorce court.

She told The Yolanda Adams Morning Show earlier this week, "Had it not been for the show, Tamar & Vince, I probably wouldn't be sitting here today. It was a lot of things in our relationship that we didn't realize until we watched it back."

She went on to say that the issues she had in their marriage was also great material for her first hit single, Love & War.

"Those songs would have never been written. It was therapeutic and some things had to be said. And sometimes when you're in a relationship, you don't know how to bring things up."

She added that her solo album can also help couples who have been having troubles in their marriage.

"What I really wanted was to have a CD where you can put it in and it speaks for you. Then you spark up the conversation without it being argumentative because you ain't getting nowhere with that."
