There is new information coming out about various smaller characters in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, including details about Holly Hunter's mysterious character.

LexCorp Building Revealed In New PHOTO for Batman vs. Superman

Hunter is allegedly slated to play a U.S. Senator in Batman v Superman, according to a source's tip off to ComicBook.com. The source also claims that Hunter's U.S. Senator will be visiting Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) at LexCorp along with a currently un-cast congressman.

Allegedly, one scene will feature Lex seeming to "embarrass or be very disrespectful to the congressmen on his way out."

Lex Luthor's Company in Batman v Superman A "Youthful, Edgy Company"?

Additionally, the source told the publication that Tao Okamoto would be playing Lex Luthor's assistant. Okamoto was previously revealed to be appearing in Batman v Superman, though it had not yet been announced who she would be playing. Okamoto will reportedly be playing Mercy, which is likely an adaptation of Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor's personal assistant in the comic books.

Eisenberg's version of Lex Luthor is not expected to be bald in the film, despite this being one of the character's most recognizable traits. Instead, he will have longer hair and be a young, smarmy billionaire.

"He's a billionaire who knows he is more powerful than the Senator and Congressman visiting because he's a billionaire." the source revealed.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice features an all star cast that includes Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's butler. Jason Momoa was also recently announced to be playing Aquaman.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
