Miley Cyrus gets quote from former President Theodore Roosevelt tattooed on her left forearm. The tattoo reads "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat."

Her choice of tattoo came as a surprise to many who were unaware of Miley's interest in politics. This is the star's second tattoo this month. Earlier this month, the former Hannah Montana actor, had the Roman numerals VIIXCI engraved on her upper-right forearm. After learning that her new ink meant nothing without gaps, the teen returned to the Hollywood tattoo parlor to get some new art. She left the Manny Pacquiao Tattoo shop in Los Angeles with a black patch covering the fixed version.

Her body art doesn't stop there; other tatts include an anchor on her wrist, an etching of the Hindu Om symbol on her left wrist, a heart on her right hand, the phrase 'Love never dies' on her upper arm and a dream catcher on her side.

The recently engaged mega-star's newest tattoo was taken from Roosevelt's speech which he made at the Sorbonne, Paris, on April 23 1910.

Her new tatt was first spotted as Miley was photo'd leaving her Pilates class. Earlier this week, the 19-year-old revealed that she was planning a "super healthy" week.

"Putting that positive Monday energy out there... LET'S BE SUPER HEALTHY THIS WEEK. that's my focus," she tweeted, later adding: "everyone should pick up some super healthy snacks this week, maybe give up a vice, only give your energy to positive people in your life!"

In the past, she was quoted saying that she would never get a tattoo unless it means something personal to her.

"It really doesn't hurt if you're thinking about the meaning," she said to The Sun. "I could never get a meaningless tattoo, but I think that if you're doing something that's important, that's significant in your life, it takes some of the pain away."
