McKayla Maroney, the Olympic gymnast and Instagram model, added a new photo to her social media page that shows an explorative event she just went on.

The picture that was added to her page on Saturday shows Maroney standing outside with her hair piled around her head. She's wearing a grey top with a cross for a necklace as she gives a slight smile. She has some eye makeup added on, bringing out the shade in her eyes.

Maroney captioned this photo, "Malibu hike," showing that she was taking a walk outside in nature.

McKayla Maroney 'Doesn't Even Remember' Making That Face

The gymnast currently has more than 700,000 followers on Instagram, making her a popular hit on the Internet. Most of her photos are of selfies where she gives a small smile. On Fourth of July, she posted a picture of herself in a red, white and blue bikini.

While Maroney might be famous for her smirky selfies, she's also famous for her "not impressed" look where she squints her mouth to the side, looking like she's annoyed. This was a moment that reportedly took place at the Olympics, and was something she did not expect to become her trademark.

"I wasn't expecting two seconds of me on the medal stand to go viral after the Olympics," Maroney told ESPN. "I came back to my room after the medal ceremony, and my dad said this picture of me doing a face I don't even remember making is blowing up."

She then said that her teammates don't even notice that face because she does it so often.
