Kristen Saban, the daugther of University of Alabama coach Nick Saban filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit from a former friend and sorority sister who claims she beat her in 2010.

Saban's lawyer Joshua Hayes filed the motion today against Sarah Grimes' lawsuit, according to FOX6.

"We strongly dispute the allegations - and that's all theya re at this point - made in the Complaint. We will vigorously defend Kristen and the truth will come out," Hayes said in a statement to the channel.

The lawsuit filed by Grimes on June 26, claims the injuries she sustained from Saban's beating were very serious and could have been life threatening, according to the lawsuit published on Fox6 website.

Grimes is seeking more than $10,000 in compensation. See Saban's picture here.

Today, new details about the alleged fight were revealed including that Saban punched Grimes face multiple times and pulled her hair.

Grimes claims that in August 2010, the two of them were playing a drinking game in with three other friends, according to the lawsuit published by FOX6.

Then they headed to a bar and continued drinking but Saban's behavior became erratic and became angry because a guy she had dated was not paying enough attention to her.

Saban reportedly went back home with her friends and became emotional and said nobody understood "how it was for her," according to the lawsuit.

Then Saban refused to get off the floor after several people tried to help her. Grimes looked over at Saban and said "Kristen, please just shut up. We're all sick and tired of hearing it."

Saban jumped up off the floor screaming "No one likes you, you don't have any friends."

"You really need therapy," Grimes replied.

"Yeah, because that obviously worked so well for you!," Saban said.

About 30 minutes later, Saban wrote on her Facebook "No one likes Sarah! Yayyyy!"

When Grimes saw the post she confronted Saban and asked her to erase the post.

Saban took it off but shoved Grimes into a door's frame. Then "Saban punched Grimes multiple times in her head and nose" and "pulled Sarah's hair."

It took two other girls to pull Saban off Grimes and she was left bleeding badly from her nose and went to the hospital.

Grimes claims that the beating and the head injuries caused her repeated night terrors, anxiety, physical trembling, fears of dying from brain injuries, trouble sleeping, and intrusive recollections of the event.

Saban was not criminally persecuted.

In the motion to dismiss the lawsuit, Saban's lawyer argued that Grimes was responsible for her own injuries and that her insurance covered Grimes’ medical costs, so Kristen Saban shouldn’t have to pay, according to AP.
