Sasha Czack is reported to be devastated after news broke Friday that her son with actor Sylvester Stallone, Sage Stallone, was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Friday. Sage Stallone's representative broke the news of the death Friday evening, which is allegedly the result of unidentified pills.

Sasha Czack married Sylvester Stallone in 1974, but their marriage fell apart and they divorced in 1985. During their time together, they had two children, Sage and Seargeoh Stallone. Czack was the lead photographer and co-writer of Rocky, which was first released in 1976. She reportedly retired as a photographer after her second child was diagnosed with Autism.

Czack and Stallone are both said to be distraught at the news of their son's death, and the news immediately sparked an outpouring of sympathy and condolences from fans.

Sage's lawyer explained, "Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever."

Sage Stallone's body was discovered at his Los Angeles home on Friday. He had not responded when an acquaintance called to check on him. The LAPD performed a welfare check, where they found him dead.

Sage Stallone had been alone in the apartment and according to TMZ his death was due to an overdose of an unidentified type of pill.

The 36 year old was engaged to be married, and was working on numerous film projects at the time of his death. He had acted in movies "Daylight" and "Rocky V" - both with his father. In 1996, he and film editor Bob Murawski co-founded Grindhouse Releasing, a Los Angeles based company dedicated to the restoration and preservation of exploitation films.

In recent years, Stallone directed his first short film Vic which screened at the 2006 Palm Springs, California Film Festival. He was in San Diego Thursday to promote "Expendables 2," his new film with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
