It looks like LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are not only obsessed with telling their fans their "side of the story," but apparently, the actor's sons, too. The couple recently admitted that they told Cibrian's two sons from his previous marriage to Brandi Glanville, Mason and Jake, about the affair that ultimately broke up their family.

Cibrian even reveals that he and Rimes even went into counseling so they could figure out how they could smoothly transition the boys into their blended family.

"We've had discussions with them about the whole situation," Cibrian tells Life & Style Magazine in a new interview, adding that they went into counseling "to figure out how to put the kids first, to make sure they're stable."

Rimes added, "They understand more than you think they do," along with "We are always bettering ourselves and our marriage."

Meanwhile, the couple's reality show, LeAnn & Eddie, has failed to pull in good viewership.

According to Deadline, Rimes' show, which chronicles her behind-the-scenes life with Cibrian, was the lowest-rated show for VH1 on Thursday night.

"The 10:30 premiere of LeAnn & Eddie was seen by a total audience of 374,000," Deadline writes. In comparison, "The 1-hour Naked Dating had 826,000 total viewers with 480,000 among Adults 18-49. Not only was that 0.5 rating the best non-Monday premiere in the Viacom channel has had since Mob Wives launched on April 17, 2011 with a 0.9 but it saw huge leaps up from the last quarter."
