America's Got Talent made its first major round of cuts on NBC last night, eliminating over half the acts as they narrowed it down to the top 47 acts advancing into the next round.

Amount the lucky contestants were the Dragon House dancers and the unusual Hart Dance Team.

While the competition for music groups was fierce, The Willis Clan made it through, as did One Voice Children's Choir, which barely made it through the first round of auditions with three out of four votes.

'America's Got Talent Braces For An Intense 'Judgment Week'

Kellie Glover, who was cut during "Judgment Week" the first time she auditioned for the show back in 2009, made it through. Anna Clendening also proved herself worthy of a slot at Radio City Music Hall after overcoming severe anxiety and suffering a panic attack onstage. U.S. Army veteran Paul Leti who wowed judges with a Rihanna cover, also managed to nab one of the top places.

Other fan favorites said goodbye to the NBC series this week, including "Russian roulette" magician Rogue, the Connecticut-based band Beach Avenue, and 84-year-old Ray Jessel, who charmed judges during is initial audition with an unexpected tune.

The top 47 will become 48 when NBC's TODAY announced the winner of TODAY's Got Talent, a competition which will find one talent act to push through into the live show at Radio City Music Hall.
