Hannibal fans were hungry for news at Thursday's San Diego Comic-Con, and the cast dished up some spectacular spoilers for season 3.

Michael Pitt Worries Scheduling Will Hurt Mason Verger's Return To 'Hannibal'

With episodes named after Italian cuisine, it appears Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) and Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) will make for Italy in the wake of his brutal "Mizumono" outburst. The FBI will spend the first few episodes searching for the fugitive cannibal while Dr. Frederick Chilton (Raúl Esparza) will return from the dead and questions about Dr. Lecter's past will serve to introduce a number of new guest stars.

It appears nobody ever actually dies on Hannibal, and the series will bring back yet another character that viewers believed dead and buried - Dr. Frederick Chilton (Raúl Esparza). Shot in the face, stabbed, and disemboweled, Chilton has had a rough two seasons. However, the unlucky doctor will make it through to season 3, but a flashback will bring Eddie Izzard's Abel Gideon back into play as well, according to Digital Spy.
