Austin Mahone is on the road for the summer, but the 18-year-old isn't alone. The singer is being joined by Fifth Harmony, The Vamps and Shawn Mendes and is already explaining how they're spending their time when they're not performing.

"It's going great and I'm having a lot of fun," Mahone told Just Jared Jr. on Monday. "We have a ping pong table and a basketball hoop, so we're always playing around and having a good time."

Mahone just kicked off the tour at the end of July, but since he's been doing this for awhile, he already has some pre-show traditions. "We get into a group prayer and we all say a few words," he said. "And then we go out there and kill it. I drink a lot of water to stay hydrated and stuff. Nothing too crazy."

Before this tour, Mahone went on a smaller headlining tour earlier this year and opened for Taylor Swift on her Red tour.

In his spare time, Mahone is working with The AllState Foundation on their #GetThereSafe campaign, which encourages kids to think about smart driving techniques, like not texting while operating a vehicle.

"I wanted to inform kids on why it's important to drive safe because I'm a new teen driver as well, and these days it's all about Twitter and Instagram, so I just wanted to let them know that it's not worth it to check all that stuff while you're driving," Mahone said. He also revealed that it's the number one cause of death for teens in America.

Mahone's next tour date is tonight in West Valley City, Utah.
