Supernatural's Castiel won't be far less hesitant than Sam to end Demon Dean's life during season 10.

The angel has risked life and limb to save Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) in years past, but Cas (Misha Collins) will take a slightly different tune while dealing with the hunter's demonic alter ego.

"Even though it might be hard to hear, it might be hard to say, he tells Sam, 'Listen, you know what you have to do if things don't go right,'" Ackles told TV Line.

That doesn't mean Cas will entirely give up on his friend. Despite his failing grace, the angel will spend his energy searching for hell's newest demon.

"He's very impaired. So he's just getting weaker and weaker," Collins explained to Ksite TV. "He's not really human, but his powers are very depleted and he's sick."
