We're looking forward to learning more from the test, but do not have additional information to share on future availability of this product in our stores."

A promotional form of the beer flavored describes it as "a blend of espresso, dark carmel and chocolaty stout flavored sauce, and freshly steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and dark caramel drizzle" with a "roasted malt" taste.

As far as pleasing customers, some of them had interesting reactions to the new product.

But one fan seemed to like the idea and tweeted, "Beer flavor latte from starbucks? Mornings just became my favorite."

Another took a jab at the company and wrote the new coffee would be "one way to cover up that burnt flavor."
