Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice are waiting for their hearing scheduled for this Thursday, after they pleaded guilty to various fraud charges such as loan and tax evasion back in March of this year.

Since then, there has been several reports of whether the two will have to go to federal prison, or even if Joe will be deported back to Italy after serving his sentence.

Now, a new insider has told Us Weekly that Teresa could be getting house arrest. On top of that, the head of the couple's legal team Miles Feinstein told the site, "We're hoping Teresa does not go to jail. The great likelihood is that Joe will get some jail time...It's just a matter of how long."

He could get up to 46 months. Teresa could also be handed 27 months.

Interestingly enough, as reports say that Teresa could be confined to her own home, new rumors claim that she is having trouble finding a new one. She and Joe put their New Jersey mansion up for sale recently. An insider said that their tarnished credit is putting a delay on getting approved for a home.

"Teresa will be lucky to afford a condominium with three bedrooms. There is no way Teresa and Joe could afford a house close to $400,000. She and Joe have almost no equity in either of their houses because they refinanced so many times."

They added that Joe and Teresa's filing of chapter 13 bankruptcy put their "credit is in the toilet."
