Liam (Scott Clifton) has only just become a single man but his potential interest in Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) will bring yet another Forrester family member to town on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Liam Rekindles Things With Ivy?

Ivy's father, John (guest star Fred Willard) will arrive in L.A. to visit his family and see how his daughter is faring away from home, but he could have a secret agenda after learning that Ivy has already had a connection with Liam-and he may only be around to scope out the man his daughter has been falling for.

"I shall give him my blessing or my condemnation," he says in a preview clip for the Thursday, October 2 episode.

Liam is practically a celebrity thanks to his love triangle with Hope (Kim Matula) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks), which could be making John wary of his ability to truly commit to his daughter, hence his attempts to feel him out.

If John's arrival in town and possible reasons for being there aren't enough, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has dropped quite a few bombshells on her sister Katie (Heather Tom). Unsure of what it is she now wants from life, Brooke is taking a job overseas in the Milan office. But before she goes, she will make an unusual request of Katie-to give Bill (Don Diamont) another chance and see if there's still something there between them.

Katie will be understandably shocked by this, as she and Brooke have both moved on with one another's former husbands, so Brooke changing things now makes no sense to her.

"He's in love with you, and I'm in love with Ridge. I don't know why you're playing matchmaker," Katie says to her sister in the clip.

"I'm not," Brooke replies.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
